Breaking News AirAsia Flight goes Missing with 162 people - Please Pray


-- An AirAsia passenger jet with 162 people has lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control Sunday, December 28. The search for the AirAsia Flight QZ8501 will continue on Monday by the Indonesian Search and Rescue Agency. One of the pilots had asked to fly at a higher altitude due to bad weather. The aircraft, was flying from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore, when it went missing over the Java Sea between the islands of Belitung and Borneo. On Airbus A320-200 were 155 Indonesian, three South Korean, one Brit, one French, one Malaysian and one Singaporean. Eighteen children were on board. Indonesia's President Joko Widodo said they were "praying for the safety" of those on board. Pope Francis also prayed for the missing, according to Vatican Radio.
