Wow 8,000 at Pro-Life Rally in Northern Ireland

The 8th All Ireland Rally for Life was on Saturday, 5 July 2014 in Belfast City Centre. 8,000 people marched through Belfast City and there were speeches in Custom House Square. Organisers were happy with the large numbers. A small group of pro-choice demonstrators gathered to protest. The laws on abortion in Northern Ireland are the 1861 Offences against the Person Act, and the Criminal Justice Act 1945. Terminations are only permitted to save a woman's life, or if there is a risk of permanent and serious damage to her mental or physical health. There were a great number of Young people at the March which shows that many of the next generation are Pro-Life. (Image Share -
